V In the cold season, the skin is stressed: dryness, dehydration and redness appear from the first weather changes and are difficult to eliminate. Stylist and makeup artist Natalia Miller @nmillermua told BeautyHack what to change in winter care so that the skin is perfect.
Body cream should be in the jar
Set aside body products in pump bottles until spring. Winter beauty products should be in cans – this is the key to your confidence that the cream is quite oily. Only light, airy agents are packed in bottles, which will not be enough during the cold period!
Before applying to the skin, you need to add coconut or argan oil to the cream for the face and body – with it it will become softer and the cream will be better absorbed.
Apply a mask before bed.
To heal your skin overnight, apply a hydrogel mask or any other high-hyaluronic acid mask before bed.
Use a mild scrub
Use a milder product instead of an abrasive scrub. For example, mix brown sugar with coconut oil. The oil will prevent the skin from cracking, and the sugar, melting, will delicately exfoliate the stratum corneum.
Buy a vitamin F cream
It’s cheap and effective: Before going to bed, apply a thick layer of vitamin F cream to your skin and let it soak for 20 minutes, remove any residue with a tissue. The skin will calm down and redness will disappear.
